1. What we do not collect
Everyday Hero has no advertising or third-party analytics, does not track you across apps, creates no developer account, and does not send habits, records, or profile photos to a server operated by the developer.
2. On-device data
Habit names, targets, action records, timers, history, preferences, and reminder settings stay on your device by default. A photo you explicitly choose through the system picker is cropped and compressed into a local profile-photo file. The app cannot browse your full photo library.
3. Private iCloud sync
If enabled, private iCloud sync stores habits and records in your own private CloudKit database for use across devices signed into the same iCloud account. By default only you can access that private database, and its records are not visible in the developer portal. Apple processes iCloud under its own privacy policy and terms.
4. Apple Watch, notifications, and Live Activities
iPhone and a paired Apple Watch exchange task and timer state through Apple WatchConnectivity. Notifications and Live Activities are presented by the system on your devices. We receive no reminder-open analytics.
5. Your controls
You can view and export data, clear a local replica, or permanently delete this app’s on-device data and dedicated private CloudKit zone. You can remove a custom profile photo at any time. See Privacy Choices.
6. Children and sensitive uses
The app is not directed at collecting children’s personal information and does not provide medical diagnosis, mental-health treatment, or emergency services. Avoid placing unnecessary sensitive information in custom habit names.
7. Updates and contact
We will update this page and its effective date if data practices change. Email privacy questions to winsonherman@gmail.com.
